Al Rostamani Trading Co sole authorized distributor of Suzuki in UAE announces Recall Campaign for Suzuki Celerio (2009-2010 YM) Due to the mis-arranged wiring harness where shift solenoid circuit and stop lamp circuit were wrongly interchanged, higher electric current than designed was flowing through shift solenoid for the automatic transmission shift selector lever lock circuit. Higher electric current could cause the shift solenoid circuit contact in the stop lamp switch to be burnt/melted that might result in stop lamp switch failure. In such a case, the automatic transmission selector lever coincidently may not be pulled out of 'P' range. As internal spring of the belt tension adjuster was manufactured improperly, the spring may be broken and the tension of the belt will not be adjusted. In which case the belt will be slipped and the generator and water pump pulleys will not work.. The MIL therefore may light and the CVT could fall into the failsafe mode resulting in the vehicle losing acceleration.
