  1. Al Qudra Desert is a very good and versatile learning ground for absolute newbies for their first time desert driving thrilling experience. If you have already driven in sand before then you can learn more from experts having decades of offroading experience in the UAE. This area offers a good mix of playable long set of dunes and broad ridge to test your off-road control. Drive is open for all 4x4/4WD/SUV/AWD vehicle having 8-10 inches of ground clearance and front and rear tow hooks. You can bring your family, friends and kids, but if you are absolute new to sand offroading it is better to drive alone first to the learn offroading without any distractions. Drive will start with detail briefing, followed by 2-3 hours of driving in sand dunes and then followed by a break for refreshments over a feedback and assessment session for each offroader.   4. After last week's drive in the fabulous white sand of Faqa, its time to change the terrain a bit and move to the famous red sands of Bidayer. This drive is for Fewbies and above. Expect plenty of side sloping, criss crossing and ridge riding in some of the most amazing dunes that this terrain has to offer.   5. Due to the shortage of time last week, there was some unfinished business on the dunes south of the Solar Panels. So lets attempt to reach there this time starting from Al Faqa. The area provides long range dunes that offer a perfect playground to ramp up the pace a bit and stretch the legs of both car and driver. We will explore the area, and alternate between side sloping, ridge crossing, and enjoy whatever this area has to offer. This drive is for Fewbie and above level only. Maliha is the perfect area for starting of your offroad adventure. It offers small to medium size dunes that offer plenty of opportunity to learn the art of offroading in a safe environment. Plan is to have an early morning Newbie drive to Fossil Rock till about 10:30 am. Depending on the Fewbie response, we shall then have a second session drive towards Faya in some more challenging dunes. However if no absolute newbies sign up we might up the level depending on the convoy signed up. This time we will drive in Maliha / Kalba area that offers perfect opportunity to learn in very safe and easy tracks to medium rolling dunes. Looking for an easy relaxing drive for everyone with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow, hill climb, and ridge riding. Newbies and Fewbies will have a great chance to see and learn the real fun that off-roading offers in a very safe and organized environment. Since timing will be crucial I request everyone to respect everyone and be on time. Sweihan dunes also regarded as "Little Liwa" by some offers plenty of opportunities to test our desert driving skills by climbing sideways, ridge riding, ridge cutting and to climb huge dunes to its peak and capture some stunning pictures. As the weather is still hot, its best to start off at the onset of sunrise and have a good 3 hours of fast paced drive through some of the most amazing dunes that UAE has to offer.   18. As the weather begin to change for good, this might be the last night drive to enjoy this year, as now in night weather has become very pleasant with cool breeze. Time to enjoy chilled out desert drive in our much loved Mahafiz sandbox till the morning. If time permit and convoy response are favorable, we might continue play in morning at monster dunes after fossil rock area, if not we will end and exit. This area offers a great mix of playable dunes and medium dunes to test your night driving skills. Depending on convoy strength and liking will plan the route to fit everyone's taste and capabilities. Offroad lights are recommended for a night drive, but if you don't have you can still safely drive with your HIGH BEAM.   19. After the last week Fewbie+ to Intermediate level, it's time to have a chilled out and relaxing desert drive in this hot and humid summer. This time we are changing the area to a different route to start from end of Awir and reach the Mahafiz area through desert. You got it right, that we will start from Dubai and end in Sharjah from a desert route enjoying all the dunes on our way. This area is filled with very broad dunes that are easy to climb and exit, perfect for any newbie to get the hang of desert driving with a pinch of dune bashing. If the convoy response is good we will play in the nearby area at a fewbie level to push the spirit and fun few notches, nothing extreme. Offroad lights are recommended for a night drive, but if you don't have you can still safely drive with your HIGH BEAM.   20. Superman is back from his vacation and invites all intermediate level drivers to sign up for this drive. It is going to be fast paced, fun and full of thrills as I have been missing in action for the past 3 weeks. Area 53 is the most versatile area in the UAE offroading scene, that offers beautiful tall rolling dunes with plenty of opportunities for side slopping, ridge cutting, and long hill climbs. Any Fewbie who have already had 15 or more drives is also welcome to join. We may promote few fewbie drivers to Intermediate level after this drive, if there driving skills are at par to match the pace.   23. As the summer heat is in full form, our night drive is the only escape to enjoy the good breeze and pleasant weather in the desert (fingers crossed). This time we are heading to our much-loved sandbox of Pink Rock in Tawi Nazwa area. If time permit and convoy response are favorable, we might continue to Bidayer, if not then we will end at 2nd Dec cafeteria for easy exit. This area offers a great mix of playable dunes and medium dunes to test your night driving skills. Depending on convoy strength and liking will plan the route to fit everyone's taste.   25. It's time to visit our beautiful Al Qudra Desert just behind the Qudra lakes and all the way to the Solar park and exit. This area offers a great mix of playable dunes and small technical dunes to test your control. Depending on convoy strength and liking will plan the route on the fly. Though Ramadan fasting and suhoor time are over so will start and end little early to reduce the driver's fatigue to drive back home.
