ANNOUNCEMENT Recall Campaign Statement: Driver Airbag NISSAN NAVARA MODEL YEAR 2008-2015 In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy—Department of Consumer Protection, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, Nissan Middle East announces a Recall Campaign for the NISSAN NAVARA-2008 to 2015 models which will begin effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 20th February, 2017: Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masood Automobiles distributors of Nissan in the UAE, released the following statement: Following communication with Nissan Middle East, we have started a Recall Campaign affecting 7'406 NAVARA vehicles from MY 2008-2015 in the UAE. There is a potential defect in the Airbag Inflators used in the Driver Airbag. Nissan will replace the Driver Airbag Module on affected vehicles with improved ones at no cost to the customers. In the Interest of delivering the quality and customer care highest Standards of NISSAN, Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masaood Automobiles will begin contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the situation and update them on next steps. For further clarification customers may contact the Arabian Automobiles Customer Care Centre on 800NISSAN and Al-Masaood Automobiles Customer Care Centre on +971-24492596 from 8.00am-7.00pm, Saturday to Thursday. There is a potential defect in the Airbag Inflators used in the Passenger Airbag. Nissan will replace the Passenger Airbag Inflator on affected vehicles with improved ones at no cost to the customers. Fantastic work done by Nissan after a long history of building strong, dependable pickups. But now it's even much better in the design and experience for the next generation Navara. For me, having a business for heavy load lifting it's good to have opted for a cabin and body configuration for which NP300 Navara is perfect. I am not sure as of now about which type of vehicle to choose, but I'm sure to find one that suit both of my work and play requirements
