fareed
What does it mean by flooding the engine?
saifrr
Flooding in the engine happens during combustion. When there is rich air-fuel mixture in the engine which is not specified for that engine, and the engine does not respond: it means engine is flooded. fareed
And how do you know which fuel mixture is best for your car?
bradly
Fuel trim helps you knowing the ratio of the air/fuel in your car. The engine computer system adjustment is done through fuel trim which specifies the ratio of air and fuel in the car which is combined to be known as fuel mixture is as per recommended or not. You can always check for the fuel mixture ratio in your car manual as well. It will give you a brief idea of what ratio is best recommended in your car. tenace
You can find the right type of fuel mixture in the user's manual. In case you've lost it it is better to consult a mechanic in order to avoid damage to the engine.
