water in the headlights

Recommended Posts

You need to remove the condensation from the headlights, because your car may not pass the RTA test. To do that, you need to remove the headlights from the car. All the tools and process required to do so, must be mentioned in the car manual book. But be careful while doing that. Once you remove it, clean the assembly nicely with a lint free cloth. You can out silica gel pack on the assembly to prevent it further. But make sure that you put the gel away from the bulb. It shouldn’t touch the bulb. And reattach the headlights back. That’s it! It’s done. I would suggest you to repeat this again if you realize such a problem again

I would also like to add up that if the headlight condensation is a frequent problem in your car, it may be because of the drainage hole as well. If that’s the case, the silica gel will also not work properly. You may need to take your car to the service center and get it scanned for my drainage hole.
