Will this 2016 Pajero sport be available in UAE....?

Recommended Posts

For the first time, I really liked this Mitsubishi Pajero sport, called as a Challenger in Thailand, and I really hope same shapes hits the UAE market anytime soon.....!

Offers rugged luxury, sophisticated technology and genuine four-wheel drive performance. With all new active safety features include Blind Sport Warning (BSW) and Ultrasonic mist acceleration Mitigation System (UMS) which, while stationary or at speeds of up to 10 km/h, uses ultrasonic sensors to detect vehicle obstructions and regulates engine power if the driver depresses the accelerator hard by mistake.

With above shape and design Pajero has definitely come a long way in superior design, elegant looks, detailing and above all awesome ground clearance, which is expected from any capable offroad SUV. Have you checked with Habtoor lately if they start receiving this, as in Aug-Oct all dealers get the inventory for next year models and start dispatching them before year-end. I would love to know it's availability and price tag.

drive arabia gives a price of 95,000 for 2016 model, which seems weird as I called Habtoor motors and they confirmed that they dont have Pajero sport for 2015-2016 model and they only sold it in 2014, I can check again in few months if habtoor bringing the new shape of 2016 model :-(

Sorry to be a party pooper, guys.

pajero, shogun and montero is same, Nativa and pajero sport is same, outlander still have no other names in diff region. May be jibransayed you have seen the 2015 outlander that looks same but have big difference as pajero sport is made for good offroad to compete with FJC and Xterra, whereas outlander is normal mid-size suv for roads.

In coordination with the Competition & Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, Al Habtoor Motors announces a Recall Campaign for a limited number of Mitsubishi Lancer, Outlander and ASX vehicles with the below details which will be effective immediately.
      United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 18.06.18.
Al Habtoor Motors Co LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the UAE, have released the following statement:
      "We regret to inform that
      (a) Due to the improper design of the auto tensioner, the sliding resistance forces will increase after the degradation over time. This might cause cracks damage on the flange area of auto tensioner if the engine is used under high-load driving repetitively. In worse case, the flange will break and the drive -belt will fall off. This will cause the engine warning light to switch on, loss of power steering force assistance, battery discharging, and engine overheating.
      (b) Due to prolonged exposure to temperature and humidity, the adhesive strength of the outer frame of the sunroof glass assembly may become weak due to inappropriate resin material. As a result the sunroof glass may detach from the outer frame because of vibration and/or wind pressure during driving and could pose an accident or injury risk to the vehicle occupants and other road users."
All repairs related to this recall campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer.
      (a) A total of 7,227 Mitsubishi Lancer, Outlander and ASX vehicles, Model Code (CYLiA), (CWSW) and (GA2W) are affected in Dubai/Northern Emirates/Abu Dhabi/Al Ain manufactured between January 2008 and December 2012.

Recall Campaign for rear parking brake on Mitsubishi ASX and Outlander.
In coordination with the Competition & Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, Al Habtoor Motors announces a Recall Campaign for a limited number of Mitsubishi ASX and Outlander vehicles with the below details which will be effective immediately.
United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 17 .05.18.
Al Habtoor Motors Co. LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the UAE, have released the following statement:
      "We regret to inform that
      (a) Due to improper sealing of parking brake shaft boots, water might enter and rust the shaft. As a result of continuous use, the rust will erode into the internal caliper and reduce the parking brake force. In the worst case scenario, parked vehicle will arbitrarily move.
      (b) Some rear brake calipers have shipped without passing the proper specification inspection. Auto adjustment of gap between brake disc and brake pad might not work properly. As a result, as the brake pad wears out, the caliper will not adjust the gap automatically and brake force will be insufficient to hold the vehicle. In the worst case scenario, parked vehicle will arbitrarily move. Therefore, we are trying to fix it for the safety of the users."
