Jeep forum here is a blessing to have full categorize break-up of all Jeep cars in the UAE. I like it and I love this Jeep Forum here, please don't take it wrong.

I need ideas brainstorm to how to make this Jeep Forum busy even more, I am part of lot of off-road forum here in the UAE and people tend to discuss their Jeep problems, upgrades and restoration projects in full length there. Which in my eyes is sometimes irritating as it's an off-road forum and not Jeep forum. I like to understand what all features or new idea we can add here to attract those gazillion jeepers who break their jeeps every week and pick tons of Jeep Forum discussions in wrong place.

JEEP FORUM (My idea list):

  1. This Jeep Forum with all Jeep brand forum here need to have QR code and short URL that we can circulate easily, and divert that traffic to where it belongs.
  2. Get some Jeep specialist and expert here, like good old member or moderator to answer basic to mid level Jeep expert queries for all Jeepers in UAE.
  3. Get some Jeep workshop to give discount to those Jeepers, as every off-road forum has one or two fix workshop behind their back to generate that level of regular jobs.

This seems like a good idea buddy, not only Jeep but many other car owner discuss their car woes in wrong places and get stupid results. I agree on your pointer to strike some good deals here at Carnity for getting the members come back again.

Jeep forum in the UAE has some presence in Facebook pages as per my last knowledge but again that get killed after few days of post and then back to the off-road talks.

There are 100's of jeep clubs on facebook that love to exist with their alter ego of 10 group in one club and call themselves club manager. For sake of satisfying their ego they can never be united and form bigger pool of jeep owner and help each other.

@amid You're 100% right. There's too much politics in clubs sometimes, with any make of car. It's all about power and control. People join clubs, have 'small penis syndrome' and start their own groups just so they can be in control. Before you know it you end up with 10's of dissident splinter groups with everyone fighting for control. Whatever happened to community spirit?

Not only in Jeep, but in so many other brand club like Land Rover, Mustang, Hummer club floating with 100's of splinters.

Same has been replicated since eternity with the UAE off-road clubs. Splinters of a splinters of a splinters form another club.

Seems like a universal psychological human nature, or curse of a technology that any one can have Facebook group with crappy banner and called themselves club and start pestering people to join for drives.

Thanks guys for the overwhelmingly discouraging reply for my Jeep forum poor thread.

All I just wanted is one Jeep forum in dubai to have immense knowledge base of Jeep that I can blindly browse for hour and hour and learn new stuff. You all broke my heart :-(

IMHO many people here doesn't even understand a basic difference in forum vs club. I guess it's a regional problem, as they have been always part of groups and club and they think forum is another club and by joining new forum they will be badged as betraying member of their club or group.

It's not the case guys, you can be part of 100 forums as it's only made for knowledge sharing without any boundaries or terming as "my club" or "your club". I have been very active on few Porsche forums inside and outside the UAE and get my car perfectly fixed without any useless expense by educating myself. And plus I am part of Porsche club, where we drive together and have fun.
