Best and affordable Service centre(Not Car Company)

Recommended Posts

Hello, my name is Amar , can anyone help me for the below .

I own a Mitsubishi Pajero and have bought it from the bank as a Secondhand car. After that, I did normal servicing of the car(oil change etc..) and also have replaced the shocks original from Mitsubishi. Now there is a rattle sound from the dashboard and it is annoying and it only rattles when the car is driven over the narrow speed breakers which are marked in yellow/orange colours like strips (mostly seen on the Deira roundabouts after passing Shindagha Tunnel). Does anyone have any suggestion for this above? My SUV is driven for 135,000 KM and is a 2010 full option model.

Also, can anyone suggest me , as since I have bought the SUV as a second-hand car where can I service it? I mean I want a service centre other than Mitsubishi which can service the SUV as per the kilometres (like major service etc..) and also affordable, because the small Garages in Al Quoz/Quasis/Sharjah etc.. we have to tell them what to do and they do not know what has to be done after every service interval.

Please do reply to my above questions. Will be thankful.

Thanks

Amar

If it's inside the dash it'll be tricky to track down but what you can do is stick bits of paper or card in all the gaps you see, beside the radio, glovebox lid etc. If you do them one at a time you should be able to find it.

I kind of specialise in pajeros @Gaurav @DiamondDallas 😂

@Amar take it to @Barry he loves Pajeros even the dead ones can be alive by him. Mine and @Gaurav cars have made him Pajero Specialist. You would know once you take your Suv to him. In seriously your car will be in Good hands.

Sure guys I will , I am sick of going to the small garages , wherein I have to tell them what to do. I am going call him today and plan a visit.

Thanks guys for your support , this Forum is the best after searching for a long time I got this Car community.

Thanks Carnity for creating this Community.

You are welcome to the best car enthusiast gathering in one place in this region.

Just a suggestion would be to know more about your vehicle and what it requires, otherwise majority of garages in Dubai will rip you saying they know and done all, charge you half the price what the dealers would have charged you to make you happy, but only change oil and leave car for half day. Don't be ignorant, pick up the car manual or find the information on the internet as to what is required on each service interval. Be informed, avoid getting robbed.

Sorry Barry, this was not meant for you. Just a very general remark about the common practices in this region.

Hi Rahim,

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I have the manual , but it does not mention the service scope for certain Kilometers. I tried searching the net for Service schedules but nothing found for my model (2010 Mitsubishi Pajero).

@Rahimdad absolutely no offence taken and I agree with your points.

I too have been part of workshops like you mention which always lead to me never working for them for long. Now I'm with Location Garage and I'm foreman, I have the chance to do work to the proper standard I'm used to working to in the uk. Many many times I have been asked to deliberately do shoddy work when with other companies. Now, before I carry out any work, I inform the customer of what needs to be done and how it will be done. They have the opportunity to read all my books and get all the information.

Anyone is welcome to visit the garage any time and call in for tea, coffee and a chat. Work or no work.
