The success of driverless cars in various parts of the world, and the recent showcasing of different models at various technology exhibitions in the UAE, has left many residents eagerly awaiting the day when they will be a common sight on the roads. A recent study has found that most UAE residents are enthusiastic about driverless cars.

What residents though? Anyone I know would prefer to drive their own car.

@Barry this is a survey report, not my words. I have just heard about this news and like to spread to anyone. My thinking also declares that to get himself involves in this self driving world would increase the disturbance of traffic. I also like to own manual vehicle.

the only times i would want driverless car is during rush hours in a traffic jam... driving is almost cathartic otherwise!

So we all agree that we want driverless cars during rush hours and when the roads are free, lets go for something we can control.

This is for those who are tired of the daily slow moving commute between Dubai and Sharjah.

We all are commenting as we thought about these driverless vehicles. But how much we are right or wrong depends on when these cars will be launched.

Well, I can see your point there. It's really exhausting to drive if the movement of the cars are slow because of the traffic

You're right. We can finally conclude the things if it's already launched
