Performance and luxury models

Hello guys,

I was wondering what are all the differences between the performance and the luxury vehicles of the DTS? I know there is a distinctive difference between the engines but are there any more? Thanks in advance!

Hii daredevil!

the only difference between the performance and the luxury DTS apart from the horsepower/performance of the cars is the size of the rims. The luxury has 17 inches rims on it and the performance one has 18 inches on it. Rest all the facilities and systems are the same to my knowledge. You're welcome

Why do they have so much difference in both the cars prices then? I understand that the performance DTS produces 291 HP while the luxury one produces 275 HP ... and the rims? thats it ... the difference in price is almost $10,000!! i think i'll want to test drive both to see what they are charging that 10k for? Don't u think ...

Personally i think that the increment in the horsepower is enough to increase those grands for the vehicle. 291hp is very impressive and all the elite vehicles come with this kind of hp so I would definitely pay the extra 10,000 for a DTS with a 291hp!!

Thanks for the insight guys - these posts made it easy for me to understand the contradicting reviews online.

about the difference in price - I sort of agree with hamid, HP is a deadly thing and Cadillac knows that hence the difference in pricing.
