In spite of all Tesla ho-ha public makes, still this electric trend is way forward - UNFORTUNATELY. And being game starter Tesla will always have an upper hand.

It will be interesting to see what happens in a few years when Ford and GM get deep into this technology. Let Tesla do all the hard work then when people start to warm to the technology, use their own mass production skills to beat Tesla at their own game. A bit like the original Nikola Tesla. He did all the hard work but everyone else got rich from it.
