How to switch off and on ABS mode

Recommended Posts

We need to find the ABS fuse and remove it for the drives, or you can install a switch to turn it off and on as required. Saleem might be able to help with the switch installation, but his garage is in Ajman.

I found the fuse and pulled out to check. It worked ABS light was on in dashboard. Meantime the taction control light was also on and we don't need this function while off roading. Now we need to know wheater this traction control  is fully disabled.

Traction control uses the ABS system to work. If the ABS is disabled, the traction control will be too.

Both functions use the same sensors to collect information and calculate the the wheel spin and wheel locking if you remove the fuses of abs it will go into safe mode and disable the whole system all together and when you put it back on some cars you have to initialize the system and on some you just have to switch off and back on...the lights will get off and system up and running...
