One of mine is from the 93 Ford sierra, one of my first cars. I loved how the center console was wrapped around to point everything towards the driver. Mine was similar to this but I added CD player, equalizer and extra gauges to show charging status, oil pressure and true water temperatures. Important when you're running a 300cc overbore on a 4 cylinder engine.

Inspired from Riva speedboats and practical big switch gear that can be used while wearing gloves. The L322 Range Rover has one of the best dashboards out there.

Dunno about the 1st bit, but totally agree with the last bit.
