Honestly, it was a wreck before the current owner bought it. A lot of work has went into and still goes into it to get and keep it in this condition.

It will be for sale in the coming weeks too.

It doesn't look like an Eleanor to me unless you are talking about the 70s Gone in 60 Seconds movie with the yellow Mach 1.
From 1969,  I guess the real collector's items are the BOSS cars (302, 429)..

I like the mods though... Very tastefully done. The backup camera is a great idea. The colour is amazing. Awesome engine. IMO, SBFs have a better sound than the popular SBCs. The HEMIs have the sound of Thunder & Power.

In coordination with the Ministry of Economy -Consumer Protection Department and in line with the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an ongoing review of all products in the UAE to provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Ford vehicles, and Premier Motors the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2014-2015 Model Year Ford Escape vehicles equipped with 2.5L IVCT petrol engines, manufactured in Spain, to reprogram the powertrain control module.
In some of the affected vehicles, the electronic steering column lock does not fully disengage allowing the possibility for the steering to lock or partially lock while driving. This could potentially lead to a loss of steering while driving.
A total of 1232 vehicles are estimated to be affected in the UAE.
Al Tayer Motors / Premier Motors will contact the affected customers to inform them about this recall. The powertrain control module will be re-calibrated to prevent full / partial locking of the steering column while driving. The recalibration will be done free of charge and every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience caused during the short time required for the work to be carried out.

Safety recall in the UAE for certain 2011-2012 Model Year Ford F-150, 2012 Model Year Expedition & Mustang, and Lincoln Navigator Vehicles equipped with a 61180 Transmission
In coordination with the Ministry of Economy - Consumer Protection Department and in line with the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE to provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer -dealer of Ford and Lincoln vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors the official dealer for Ford and Lincoln vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2011-2012 Model Year Ford F-150, 2012 Model Year Expedition & Mustang, and Lincoln Navigator Vehicles equipped with a 6R80 Transmission, manufactured in the USA, for powertrain control module reprogramming.
In some of the affected vehicles, an intermittent Output Speed Sensor (OSS) failure may result in an unintended downshift into first gear. Depending on vehicle speed at the time of the downshift, an abrupt wheel speed reduction may occur which could cause the rear tires to slide or lock up until the vehicle speed slows. This condition could result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
A total of 630 vehicles are estimated to be affected in the UAE.
Al Tayer Motors /Premier Motors will contact the affected customers to inform them about this recall. The powertrain control module will be reprogrammed free of charge and every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience caused during the short time required for the work to be carried out

In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the UAE importer - dealer of Ford vehicles, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2011 - 2017 Ford Explorer vehicles, manufactured in the United States of America, for rear suspension toe link replacement.
The affected vehicles may be used by customers in road conditions and driving patterns unique to United Arab Emirates increasing the bending stress on the rear suspension toe link(s), which can increase the likelihood of a rear suspension toe link fracture. A customer driving a vehicle with a fractured toe link may experience noise, unusual vehicle handling characteristics, or difficulty controlling the vehicle. A rear toe link fracture while driving may increase the risk of a crash.
In the UAE, 15,863 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign.
In the interest of delivering the highest standards of Ford quality and customer care, Al Tayer Motors/Premier Motors will begin contacting the affected customers to inform them about this recall and request them to bring in their vehicles to replace both rear suspension toe links, check alignment and, if necessary, adjust rear toe. In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the UAE importer - dealer of Ford vehicles, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2015 - 2017 Ford Ranger vehicles, manufactured in Argentina, Thailand, and the United States of America, for manual transmission shifter cable clip installation.
In some of the affected vehicles, the gearshift cable retaining clip may not be fully engaged with the metal portion of the handbrake cable, which could lead to the gearshift cables contacting the rear driveshaft. Continued contact between the gearshift cables and driveshaft can damage them, resulting in difficulty changing gears or loss of drive.
In the UAE, 178 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign.
In the interest of delivering the highest standards of Ford quality and customer care, Al Tayer Motors/Premier Motors will begin contacting the affected customers to inform them about this recall and request them to bring in their vehicles for an inspection to check for any sign of contact between the gearshift cables and driveshaft. ANNOUNCEMENT
Safety Recall Campaign for certain 2018 Model Year (MY) Ford vehicles
In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al layer Motors, the UAE importer - dealer of Ford vehicles, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for 2018 Ford Expedition vehicles, equipped with column shifter and 1 OR80 automatic transmission, and F-150 vehicles, equipped with a 1 OR80 Automatic Transmission, manufactured in the United States of America, to inspect the transmission selector lever cable.
In some of the affected vehicles, the transmission selector lever cable adjuster lock clip may not be seated properly, which may allow the transmission to be in a state different than the shift lever position selected by the driver. This condition could allow the driver to move the shifter to Park and remove the ignition key, while the transmission gear may not be in Park. This could happen without an instrument panel warning message, or warning chime when the driver's door is opened, indicating the vehicle is not secured in Park. If the parking brake is not applied, these conditions could result in unintended vehicle movement, increasing the risk of accident or injury.
In the UAE, 1,093 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign.
In the interest of delivering the highest standards of Ford quality and customer care, Al layer Motors/Premier Motors will begin contacting the affected customers to inform them about this recall and request them to bring in their vehicles for an inspection of the selector lever cable and adjustment, if necessary. The inspection will be done free of charge and every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience caused during the short time required for the work to be carried out.
