What did I originally say? Check the shaft.

@Barry i did check it like you said initially and i felt it at the stage there was play in the shaft. However when it was checked at the garage the u joints (near the front differential) where in good condition. The mistake that was done was that I should have taken the entire shaft down and checked it thoroughly. 


Am so glad that it has not been the differential and was just the front drive shaft which costed me far less to replace.

Why did you buy an entire driveshaft? You can easily get replacement Ujoints around 50-80dhs and its an easy DIY job too. 

Now you have no idea how long these old U joints will last?

The end of the driveshaft which broke was not just having a u-joint. It was having a ball joint as well and I checked that part up in the spare part market in Sharjah, they said that they dont keep the mopar part in stock. Am i still missing something?

it's a dual cardan like a cv joint but on the shaft have not seen them in aftermarket here as well
