I have a 2002 Ford Mustang Timing Belt Question.

My ride is a 2002 Mustang in pink condition but when getting the car serviced at 85 K the mechanic said that the timing belt needs a change.

So i would like to know cant i service the timing belt

If not do i have to change it and how can i confirm it

Its usual time line is after 100k km or after 10 year depending on timing belt condition and how hard rpm car has been driven in past (doof doof). Both is closer to your present situation (9 years and 85k kms), better get it change if you intend to keep this vehicle for long. Few kms before is better than later.
