What is causing difficulty in starting my Ford?

when trying to start my 1999 explorer as it was very difficult, one mechanic said that it looked like the fuel pressure is low so we changed the fuel pump but i want 2nd thought as it will be money spending job and i want to make sure before i start if there could be other factors.

there could be a lot of factors its best that you take your car to other mechanic and get a 2nd opinion it can also be clogged fuel line.

spark plugs, starter and battery also maybe the problem.

I HAD DIFFICULTIES STARTING MY FF 2006 BEFORE, ONE MECHANIC(HE SPOILED MY HEATER TOO) TOLD ME IT IS STARTER, I WAS GETTING READY TO CHANGE IT & IT IS EXPENSIVE, BUT OTHER GUY TOLD ME IT IS BATTERY AND HE WAS RIGHT! IF THERE IS SOME CRACKLING SOUND WHEN STARTING CHECK YOUR BATTERY!

it was not the battery or the starter it was the alternator

veryyyy expensive so bought second hand with 6 months guarantee.
