Check engine light

Hi everyone

I am driving Egde since 1 year now. Recently, the check engine light is popping on my dashboard but I am really not experiencing any trouble. Can anyone tell me what may have gone wrong in the engine as I don't want to run back and forth to the service center.

It sometimes happens because of the faulty oxygen sensor. I had a same problem, and when i took it to the center they reported faulty oxygen sensor. Also, sometimes gas cap is missing or loose, that also indicated check engine light on dashboard.
