raven
My friend has a problem with the reception on her radio. She has an Audi A3 and likes to listen to music. For some reason her radio suddenly lost reception. The radio is still on but it doesn't seem to get the stations.
AudiKid
If you are proficient with handling cars you can take the radio out of the dashboard to see if there is a problem with any of the wires. This can be a difficult task though so I wouldn't really suggest it. You are better off taking it to the nearest mechanic or Audi dealer to get it looked at. raven
I'll try to take it apart later. Will the warranty be void if I try to fiddle around with it? I am not yet sure if her car has a warranty or if the warranty covers accessories like radio.
Saleem
If the car still under warranty removing it will avoid it however I had the same issue and solve it out as following: Push TP switch on the radio for few second till the led on it turns off and the radio will work normally Good Luck
raven
Thank you for the warning. I won't mess around with it anymore. She might kill me if I lose the warranty. lol. I will try to push the TP switch later and see if that is what was causing it.
dante
Was the radio problem already fixed raven? If not then try to check if the problem could be the antenna. It is also possible that there is no reception in the area but that's least likely to happen.
