temp. gauge

hey i have a 2005 audi q5 which was my brother who has left the country...

now my problem is that the thermostat of the temp gauge it dose not come up to the middle it stays down,

before i thought that it could me that the winters may have struck her hard but man i drive to jabel ali and still its sleeping.

guys what could be the issue as the car is wording absolutely fine

Water temp sensor is faulty, get it changed. Its between radiator and engine hose. easy quick job.

If not your Heat gauge died which is quiet uncommon though.
