nelson Posted March 27, 2012 Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 when was the car tune up done ? it can also be a computer problem that the computer sensing not enough fuel so its causing more fuel to be injected into the cylinders. check the entire fuel system and see if there are any leaks. edison Posted April 24, 2012 Report Share Posted April 24, 2012 It could be cause of faulty CKPS (crank sensor), whenever this bugger gets faulty it have starting problems occassionally and more fuel consumption. Get the car service done and ask mechanic to clean Air flow meter with spray cleaner and see if it help. If Air filter is too old, you are better off changimng that too whilke service.
