Is Automatic Tranmission service an important Job?

my mechanic says i should get a Automatic Transmission Service Fluid which i asked what it was and he said he will remove the transmission fluid and replace it. it sounded like an important job and so should i get it done from a higher end workshop?

Its no rocket science bro, get it changed from any mechanic you trust. Only thing important you need to make sure is you buy original transmission fluid by yourself from Al tayer spare parts shop. Dont trust any low profile or hi end mechanic.

Take the registration card with you and buy the EXACT fluid as per chasis number.
