Car loosing power at times

SInce last week i have experienced it twice, that my car is loosing little power for 3-4 seconds and again comes back. During those time throttle feels completely dead.

When im accelerating on freeway and all of sudden speed drops as if i have left the gas. Is it a gas pedal issue, some engine issue or what? Any leads guys.

its possible a air flow sensor or O2 sensor, better yet take it to a garage and let them plug it into a computer to see error faults.

Buy carbeutor cleaner and open the air filter box and spray some on top of O2 and Air flow sensor and start the car. Do this again with running and when you spray car will stall, wait for 5 mins and start again. Do this 2 - 3times to see if it helps or not.

I doubt such issue will be captured in ECM, computer testing might be just waste of time money.

dont spray on the sensor! not advisable. Safer option is " Diagnostic Test " , i recommend a guy in Umm Ramool, Saleh Bin Haider Garage. AED 250 Bucks and he will defnitely have a solution for you.

Otecmena: Can you please advise why its not advisable to clean the sensor, i was reading same in other places and it say that in little aged vehicle these issue appear due to sensor little lazy. Cleaning might help in my thinking

After you go to the mechanic tell us the diagnosis. I was just wondering if the lights also dim when it happens. It could be a bad alternator.
