the open roof is jamed

hey last night the weather was very good so i decided to take my new girl for a rid and show of my pride but i was very embarrassed the thing is that i was trying to close the roof on my 2003 clk 240 convertible when it came to a halt. I pushed the button to open the roof and it opened fully, but now will not close at all. now it was ok since all these day wat do i do

Check the sunroof rail for any blockage from clips or screw or plastic which is blocking the sunroof. Something similar happen to my previous car (very old model) that side clip of rail fallen on the sunroof rail preventing it to close.

If not get it checked with upholstery guys and they can open the sunroof and see if motor is dead or not.
