Thats one hell off techy explanation Pardeep have given. Nice one.

CV joint is covered under CV boot loaded with grease so that all the time they are rotated under lubricated atmosphere.

With age CV boot tends to get torn and grease leaks out and that's where CV joint get damaged. Its a small metal joint behind ur front tire that connects to steering rod.
