engine mount changing

is changing the engine mounting of my car part of the major service.

the dealers are charging me bomb for this and i am not even sure if they need a change?

Yes it is a good practise to change the engine mount at major service. If they cost bomb you can get it change outside too or wait until it fails. When it will fail you will feel more vibration inside the cabin on idle and have slight jerk while take off.
