Transmission problems!

Recommended Posts

No problem. I am trying to help you and avoid an expensive transmission repair. You can get Royal Purple at Dollar Auto Works (DAW)

http://www.dollarauto.ae/royalpurpule.html

And their contact details are as follows:

http://www.dollarauto.ae/locationmap.html

Flush the whole transmission every 5,000 kilometres twice and then every 10,000 kms and see how it goes. Bypass the line to the radiator and let it go back to the transmission. This will save your transmission for sure, in case the radiator completes fails. I can give you more details if you are interested.

MaxATF for your transmission and transfer case:

MaxGear for your differentials:

C'mon fellas. Every manufacturer has a certain margin for error. The models from 2004 on wards were basically their third generation. They started using the Nissan F-Alpha platform again, thus returning to a body on frame construction. They also experimented around with the interior/exterior of the vehicle for example they introduced a third row of seats to the Pathfinder line for the first time. Everybody knows that the models between 2005 and 2010 have faced several class action lawsuits because of the issue with the cracks in the radiator that allow the coolant to leak in to the transmission and all but I wouldn't whine about it a lot as generally speaking Nissan is a solid and reliable manufacturer. They have introduced the first-ever Pathfinder Hybrid in the 2014 model and I might just buy it.

No offence but certain margin for error? Playing with peoples' lives and money? Lawsuits? ... A new transmission? A new radiator? No recalls? No warranty coverage? Solid and reliable? Of course you wouldn't whine my friend ... unless of course the same was to happen to you. You don't understand how much trouble I have been through because of my car - financially and otherwise. Not to mention the everyday errands I had to deal with without my car.
