kris Posted March 23, 2014 Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 If you wanna fix it temporarily, the clean the complete surface of the free plug first. One it is nicely cleaned, use a sand paper and sand the surface lightly. Doing this, the plug will be sealed and wont leak next time. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For temporarily fixing, the leaking will stop for sometime, but when it leaks again, it will completely damage the freeze plug. Its better for you to replace it permanently.
