Hello ,

i purshased VW Touareq 2008 model, and i would like to do the mintinance needed for the car, as this is the first time i do the mintinance, i ask the vw agency, they mintioned it's minor mintinance needed which will cost me 900 aed, is that necesary to the mintinance in the agency ? or i can do it in out side?

If you want have the dealer warranty and want to have it in the future, then its must that you get all services from dealer. If you dont have warranty and dont care about complicated warranty system then i suggest get it outside whatever is required to change, like engine oil oil filter and other minor things to check and top up. It may cost you less than 400 dhs with the best fully synthetic engine oil in the world.

Well i suggest, give a call to dealer and get the info that what they will do in that 900 dhs service. Then get same done outside, atleast you will be sure that you wont miss out on anything critical.

Shell helix fully synthetic is 150 per gallon, for 2 gallon = 300

Mobil 1 fully synthetic is 195 per gallon =for 2 gallon = 390

is these oil brands good for Touareq? and is these what they use it in VW agency and it has to done 15,000 KM?
