  1. Gear oil supposed to be change every 40k - 50k. If you don't have track of KMS then its better to get it change and also change the gear oil filter.

About aftermarket headlight you can buy from Deira naif market or in shj near american university there is big market for car tires and accessories.

  2. The ignition system in a Cadillac Catera is a little different than in many other engines. Instead of using a distributor, the 4.6i engine uses a coil pack to control the spark to the spark plugs. This pack is mounted on the rear side of the engine. Although it is difficult to access, it can be unbolted from the engine. You can then unbolt and replace each individual coil pack with ease.

1 Pop the hood. Unplug the wiring harnesses from the sides of the coil pack located at the rear of the engine. Unbolt the coil pack assembly from the engine, using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket.

2 Pull the coil pack away from the engine and pull it toward you. Locate the ignition coil that you want to replace. Unplug the spark plug wire from each end of the coil pack, using your hands in a twisting motion.

3 Unbolt the coil pack from the coil pack assembly using the 1/4-inch ratchet and socket. Set the replacement coil pack onto the coil pack assembly and bolt it in place using the same ratchet.

4 Reinstall the spark plug wires on the coil pack assembly by pushing them in place until they make a popping noise. Reinstall the coil pack assembly onto the engine using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket.

  3. change both its better to have equal strength while braking. Ask mechanic a reason for uneven wear, and let him check the piston and brake caliper pressure shud be same on both sides for equal wear of brake pad in future. Its a safety issue after all.

  4. First things first, check transmission fluid level and condition when car is hot. Al shud be fine and ok. if not fix that first and see if still same problem.

when u shift in reverse, if the engine rpm increases and the car does not move. You probably have an internal transmission problem.

OR else there could be something wrong with your rear end which is not connecting rear.
