Yes the ECU might have been affected and plus a compression test might help - it will establish the compression rate on your vehicle and whether or not the car will run efficiently. Here is how you can go about doing it:

Another thing, have your battery and engine connections thoroughly checked - something you might have done already.. just a reminder.

I am glad to hear I am not the only one having issues with my brakes. I have a 2008 Honda Odyssey and the brakes constantly grind when I am stopping. I have taken it to the work shop twice before and they told me everything looked great, blah blah. And then two weeks ago, I took it in again because of the annoying noise. I said it feels unsafe and I have children with me at times too.

I was told...and I quote "That is not abnormal for the Odyssey. It's a big car and weighs a lot. So once it's been driven for a while

and the brakes are warm they make that sound."

That just sounds ludicrous to me. I don't know what else to do. I am at my wits end...

Please dont take the risk of installing it yourself whether or not you have the technical knowledge ... I was pretty adamant that I would be able to do it since a friend of mine taught me how .. later on later onwards i ended up spending a couple of grands just to clean up my own mess. The wiring and cables are tricky and its not everyone's cup of tea.

c'mon mate ...i can believe the vibration part but not the noise theory. The level of vibration is directly affected by the temperature outside and the humidity. The road conditions (mud, dust and road salt) and the condition or thickness of the brake pad material are also important. If the squealing noise is abnormally loud, have the brakes inspected and checked for pad wear.

which brand of brake fluid are you using? and also ... whats the tyre size u have on? make sure it is compatible with the rim size. A friend of mine had the same problem once so he got new tires and the noise just went away all of a sudden.

Driving at a constant speed is only good for 10 min after that it feel that i am loosing acceleration.

Why is this happening
