Do you have some basic knowledge about gaskets and seals? If so then you might be able to look into the problem yourself. You need to drain the oil, replace an oil filter and fix the valve cover gasket. You need to keep a look out for any signs of leaks while you are in the process of replacing and changing gaskets. And remember to warm up the engine a little before you begin so that the oil draining process is easier. If you have no idea what I am talking about then I guess you need to take it to have it checked

my wrangler has been in the bare hands of my little brother and has been running under heavy load & hard acceleration. Now my jeep is not accelerating .. its almost surprising what he was able to do with my jeep .. I am officially freaked out because only the rpms needle moves and my jeep is either moving really slow or it just stays stationary at times. Whatt happened here?

I recently got the oil changed of my sedona 05 .. the next day there was a huge leak where the oil filters are located. Its been two days now and I notice a leak every now and then. What can I look at in order to fix this problem. if its something I can do myself then well and good.

Well for starters you can try changing the antenna. I did that and the sound quality improved and the reception was properly

picked up ... there are some other things you can check along the way as well like checking for any wire damages or short

circuits. Also ensure when changing the antenna, it is mounted properly.

my radio was working perfectly fine till yesterday but today its not picking up normal reception of the channels i listen to while im on my way to work. Any ideas what the problem could be?

you are right it is happening to one door in specific .. i called a mechanic at home just for an idea and he mentioned that a wiring has gone bad .. thanks for letting me know so now i know i am going in the right direction.

Many people think of the cherokee as a box or just a big jeep with no special features but i think its one of the most reliable SUVs in the market which the middle-class can afford as well. I just find the signature front grill a bit weird

Seems like damaged wires ... is it happening to one of the doors or all the doors? There are ways to fix this problem by yourself if there is a damaged wire however don't expect it to be a piece of cake ..

I was able to fix mine but temporarily and eventually had to take it in.

your information is right ... the 2012 liberty was the last of its kind and the successor was the Cherokee ... the new and improved 2014 model is close to perfect if you are a jeep fan ... its reliable and its updated for today's world. If I am not wrong the design was introduced in 2013 ... you know that ... all new and improved ... and the much-awaited 2014 cherokee will be hitting the markets soon. It has a lot better fuel-economy and I love the modern touch to it. The car will come packed with new technology that I would love to try out!

Its better to sell this car as it is and get another one as no matter how much you spend in this car you will never get it back. So don't hold the dying car and just move on with another gcc model replacement that can give you hassle free ride and plus good resale whenever you want to sell it afterwards.

WOW, in 2000 model there is beep / chime for wiper fluid. Amazing Americans....!

Time to get Patriot or Cherokee man, I would suggest Cherokee as it is good old legend model backed with proven track record than Patriot.

thank you for taking the time to read my problem - the locking system on my key fob is not locking my car's doors. it easily unlocks them though. I do not wish to take it to the dealership and waste money if this problem can be fixed easily by myself. Central locks seem to be fine and my key fob also seems to be working fine. Hello ppl i have an old liberty and recently found out that the car was discontinued in Aug last year. I was wanting to buy the same car in a newer model but supposedly it has been replaced with a successor. i just wanted to know how the new ride is as compared to the good old liberty that I have owned for so many years.

Any major differences ... and sorry for being soo outdated about the information but is it in the markets yet?

If there is some warning light on dash is there, please share what color and how does it look?

If no warning light appearing, then check all fluid level may be getting low: coolant, wiper water, power steering etc. Check and top up everything. I am sure its two set of 3 beeps, right? It appears as low level warning to indicate the level is depleting and few more days it will flash appropriate warning light in dash.

Kia Spectra......! When and which market Kia launched this car, never heard of it. And moreover dealer here in Dubai might not help very much if its non gcc specs. You might be lucky if Kia has same car with different name in UAE for sourcing the parts or competent labor.

I second with Paul here that within last 4-5 years after major design change Kia captured the UAE market like crazy. Every nook and corner have one Kia car standing unlike before. I am sure they must have dealt with good reliability graph too or else ppl will not buy cars if they are just beautiful but money pit.

Get to the good tire shop and ask them to feel all 4 tire base with bare hand thoroughly to find some bump, I am more than sure if alignment and balancing is fine then this noise (especially thumping noise) comes due to swollen tire. This is very known storage defects and can be considered under manufacturing defects if you have receipt of tires from where you purchase them, they should be replacing this free of cost.

Without the door completely its not street legal, but with half door it is legal. Dubai police and RTA is very strict on road safety and you don't wanna do something like this to make them upset. Sorry to burst your Dubai winter bubble.

My dad had that happen last year to his 2008 kia sorento .. clicking chain like noise when turning to one side. They couldnt figure out what was wrong until a couple months went by and the wheel almost fell off while he was driving. In the end it was the hub that needed replacing. Surprise!
