Have you figured it out. it definetly looks like wiring problem. You can go to garage's listed in Sharjah General purpose workshop in home page in sharjah industrial area and see a good electrician.

Check gear oil, brake oil, PSF, differential oil.

AC line has leak somewhere, get check with proper technician with soap water and look for leak and fix it.

Is your VSC button is off?

If not your ABS block gone for a twist, you need to change. Get it proper diagostic and see if its not something else minor like relay or switches (which i doubt its not).

Every car has pulley to run serpentine belt for alternator, water pump and fan.

Yes it does go bad, like little loose and damage engine if not changed. Its an ageing issue. You got an honest mechanic, he is right

Are you sure u wanna DIY 2008 model GS, its an advance technology car mate. Dont do it yourself unless u have done it before. Knock sensor is in the engine near cylinder, not easy to see and change.

My 2 cents.

What you are referring to gear is a gear lever. Even if you drop 50 kg sand and 200 liter water nothing gonna explod the gearbox or gear mechanism. However it might choke the gear lever to shift. Thats it.

You need detail cleaning guys like in awir opp side road of car market few shops do DETAIL cleaning in 250 aed and take one full day. Give then 50 aed and ask them to detail clean the gear lever and they will open few plastic part until they can reach safely and clean all candy residue. No sweat.

crankshaft position sensor is located close to the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the engine near bell housing.

Finally disocvered it was faulty wiring of after market immobileser cause engine to shut off as if some thief broke in. Baaah.

Show to any garage in Al quoz, professional ones. And get the faulty spring or shocks changed.

Buy parts from lexus dealer or in shj (discounted rates) from Divya, Dhanya, Majelan and get job done in al quoz. its no technical big job, its more of labour job, so no worries you ca get it done outside safely.

All of sudden my car shutdown on highway and not starting. Send to one of local garage in shj and they cant start the car since two days.

All things are perfect: battery, spark, fuel, self.

When i start there is no noise from self (clik clik) not car is cranking.
