  1. If its small it can be repaired. I am not sure in 2005 u had plastic radiator or copper one. Copper are easy to repair with copper welding subject it will hold the pressure on the testing phase. Plastic one have less chances of being repaired even with steel strength epoxy.
  2. Remove the battery terminal for 5 minutes and join again. Older car most of these stupid glitches get solved with this trick. At least in Mazda's.
  3. Yes its a screw-in method. I googled and found this link, which tell you can use two screwdrivers to do this job and not to buy this Laser Brake Caliper Rewind Tool. http://reviews.halfords.com/4028/694661/reviews.htm Read the third review
  4. I am not sure, but if C-Clamp isnt working try the Screw-in or channel locks method. I think its screw-in should work in Mazda.
  5. Follow the radiator bottom hose to the engine-You have to remove the aircleaner to get to it
  6. Try pressing gear lock and shift to D, if it help. If not disconnect battery for 10 minutes and shift to N and connect battery and test.
  7. There is no deal with timing belt. SHUT UP and just change it or else it will shut up your engine. Its most imp to change timing belt at 100k km, dont delay. Its a good mechanic professional job, but still if you like to try to DIY i have googled this for you. Good luck. TIMING BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS] 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. 2. Remove the CMP sensor and CKP sensor. 3. Remove the ignition coils. 4. Remove the spark plug. 5. Remove in the order indicated in the image above. 6. Install in the reverse order of removal. 7. Inspect the air gap. Refer to Powertrain Management; Computers and Control Systems; Crankshaft Position Sensor. 8. Adjust the drive belt deflection/tension. 9. Start the engine and: 1. Inspect the pulleys and drive belt for runout and contact. 2. Inspect the ignition timing. Crankshaft Pulley Removal Note 1. Remove the crankshaft using the SST. Cylinder Head Cover Removal Note 1. Remove the cylinder head cover bolts a few turns in the order shown. No.3 Engine Mount Rubber Removal Note 1. Suspend the engine using the SST. Timing Belt Removal Note 1. Install the pulley lock bolt. 2. Turn the crankshaft clockwise and align the timing marks. 3. Turn the tensioner clockwise using an Allen wrench. 4. Disconnect the tensioner spring from the hook pin. Caution: Forcefully twisting the timing belt turning it inside out, or allowing oil or grease on it will damage the belt and shorten its life. Note: Mark the timing belt rotation on the belt for proper reinstallation. Tensioner, Tensioner Spring Installation Note 1. Measure the tensioner spring free length. If not within the specification, replace the tensioner spring. Free length 36.6 mm (1.44 inch) 2. Install the tensioner. 3. Rotate the tensioner. If tensioner rotates with no resistance or does not rotate, replace the tensioner. Timing Belt Installation Note 1. Verify that the timing belt pulley mark and camshaft pulley marks are aligned with the timing marks as shown. 2. Install the timing belt so that there is no looseness at the idler side. 3. Turn the crankshaft clockwise twice, and align the timing marks. 4. Verify that all timing marks are correctly aligned. o If not aligned, remove the timing belt and repeat from Step 1. Caution: Be sure not to apply tension other than that of the tensioner spring. 5. Turn the tensioner clockwise using an Allen wrench. 6. Connect the tensioner to the hook pin. 7. Turn the crankshaft clockwise twice, and verify that all timing marks are aligned. o If not aligned, repeat from Step 1. Cylinder Head Cover Installation Note 1. Verify that the grooves on the cylinder head cover are free of oil, water and other foreign material. 2. Install the cylinder head cover gasket into the cylinder head cover. 3. Apply silicone sealant to the cylinder head as shown. 4. Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts a few turns in the order shown. Crankshaft Pulley Installation Note 1. Install the crankshaft using the SST. Water Pump Pulley Installation Note 1. Install the water pump pulley by facing the "F" marks outward.
  8. When you mean AC not working: Do you mean AC cooling isnt there??? Or you mean AC itself is not getting switched on??? or Is blower isnt working??? If first (cooling isnt there). Check the AC gas level and if its low, get the freon topped up. And do the leak testing while filling freon. If second (AC not getting on). Get the compressor and its wiring checked, may be while installing AC fan, mechanic must have touched it and spoiled it. If third (blower). Check the blower relays checked.
  9. Change the gear oil and filter and see if it helps. If gear oil is old this happen and also feel little jerk while changing the gear.
  10. May be one of the shocks is faulty and have no enough oil inside. Show it to the guy from where you bought shocks, they should check and replace the faulty one.
  11. Change the fule filter and check the fuel pump, must be fuel delivery issue.
  12. This time before AC gas top up, check the AC gas leak by getting the pressure testing of AC lines and with UV light. Once that minor leak s identified repair it and refill the gas and it will be good forever. AC gas is not consumable and shud stay within idea range quantity no matter of winter or summer. If still after gas AC cooling isnt enough and it cools good while on highway, then it must be something else like compressor is getting weak or AC filter is choked or blower is loosing power.
  13. Crak shaft Position sensor is under the car near the crank case and bell housing. O2 sensor is in engine bay near air filter and Air flow meter.
  14. For removing minor scratches wax wont help, try Formula 1 "Scratch out" product, may cost 15 dhs a bottle and then use Formula 1 or Carnuba wax polish for shine.
  15. nothing, see any mechanic he need to lift vehicle and tighten the hand brake adjuster near the rear differential. 5 mins job.
  16. how do you know when its leak on uneven road. if you mean when you offroad then that means car is heating and coolant is expanding in volume and thats why its getting drained out from expansion bottle. Its pretty normal. Once its out and expansion bottle remain in safe level do no overfill and drive and see if it still leak or not.
  17. Have you found CX9 within your budget????
  18. It seals the valve to hold the pressure so that combustion inside the engine is always maintained and you can get same power all the time. If any cylinder pressure is low noticeably than other, your first doubt is valve seal change. Its a big job of opening half engine with head.
  19. Its near the back right wheel, outside the fuel tank. You need lift to change or if you can manage to go under the car its different.
  20. It shud be inside the radiator ending towards the engine. Top hose not bottom one.
  21. Check if AC fan and engine fan is working on both speed or not. it might be as simple as fan fuse must have gone. Check all fuses and relay too.
  22. oh ys vey much, also think of upgrading exhaust after that to feel power gain.
  23. use the search button. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=22&p=36&hilit=window&sid=feaa8dd2712df1371718fccfc80e5a7e#p36
