  1. If you take the back seat out you can see the top of the fuel tank and the hole you open to get to the fuel pump.

    Fuel tank has to come down, the hole in the floor board (back seat) is so that you can disconnect wiring and hoses from the fuel pump and not to pull fuel pump through. Just makes it easier to disconnect everything before you drop the tank.

  2. If its due for changing yes, if not dont change it.

    Its not related to rear brake pads condition at all. Front brake pads get changed faster twice or thrice than the rear ones, as front brake pads gets use most of the time. Only under hard braking or under full car load braking, car uses rear and front together.
