Dear faithful MX-5 owners.

I want to buy an MX-5. I am a man, a rather large man, and I am used to driving a 4x4. However, when I see the childhood car of my father redesigned receiving all sorts of praise it makes me smile.

Now in Dubai I can't find an MX-5 for test drive. The Mazda showroom only has the one or two models on display. I can't find any models used either (I have to admit I haven't been able to connect with the Trading Partners showroom itself yet). I would love to try it out before I buy it. I hear the ride is the reason you buy this car.

Also, I can't seem to see a lot of used cars for sale online and I don't see a lot of MX-5s on the road. Why is this? As owners, would you recommend buying this car, even though it is quite pricey?

If this is the best roadster (best selling anyways) and such a slick and simple design, why aren't there more owners in the Middle East? I can't quite figure this one out....
