Since you already have the problem covered by insurance, why not just use it. Try not to collaborate with the mechanic so that you can manipulate the insurance.

Sometimes, the friction of the rubber blade causes the wiper to slow down or to delay. It usually happens if the wind shield is too dry / hot and the wiper is new. Peace

The only thing I can tell you about dvds and driving is that they don't mix well. Not unless you want to get into an accident, I wouldn't recommend for you to even try it. Disabled or not.

I have heard about black smoke and blue smoke coming from the engine but for some reason my Mercedes is emitting white smoke. As usual, I have already checked the engine for leakage but didn't find anything.

Before you try anything else, try putting lube or grease on it. Also try to make sure to clean the windshield and rubber blade to reduce the friction. This might save you time of having to disassemble the motors. All due respect.

Were you able to ask where the leak was? I mean was it the actual radiator that has the leak or is it the hose? If the hose is the one with the problem, you might want to do it yourself to save money. If it has something to do with the radiator, you might want to have it replaced because sometimes the repairmen who do radiators can be sloppy and only a few of them does it.
