For all 911 Carrera S owners 997.2 PDK (Carrera, Carrera 4, 4S, GTS and other models; see link for complete list):
A conversion kit for PDK paddle shift:

I believe as a forum we could get a discounted price (list price $900). We would also need a garage to install it.
If anyone is interested reply to this post. If you know of a garage which can perform the installation, let me know.

Hello guys.
My 2008 Porsche Cayenne V6 Tiptronic has no cruise control !!!! It is full of extras but no cruise control !!!!! I was wondering whether you know if I can retrospectively install it.
For that I would need:
(1) install the cruise control stalk
(2) activate the cruise control module in the ECU
Both do not seem to be a challenge for me and I have done this in the past in an Audi A4 Quattro I had.
Do you happen to know anything on this subject or even a garage that could do this for me?
Kind Regards,
A question on the warranty of spare parts
in Porsche General Discussion Forum in UAE
Posted
Hi guys.
How long is the warranty on the Porsche original spare parts ? I changed the gas-pressure springs of the boot lid 1.5 years ago.
They failed me again and ARM is telling me that the spare parts are guaranteed for six months only. I thought Porsche spare parts are under two years warranty, aren't they?
Thanks for your guidance.
Regards,
Akis
