Hello all, my father is out of the country and i am responsible for his car while he is gone on his trip. I took his car for an oil change and no one explained to me what an oil pan gasket is and what does it do. i feel obliged to know what is going on when i am getting the car serviced so can someone help me with this information so that i can covey the information when he gets back. This car has really nice ratings and consumer satisfaction. excellent handling so its safe to be driven by young adults or women. its fuel efficient as well. Easy to maintain and comfortable interiors. See you cant compare this car with the big shots but if you compare them with toyota or honda subcompact cars, the golf is perfect for a safe bet. A good alternative would be ford focus but that also depends on how much you are into ford.

Then someone told me that you should always use a mild soap with a PH level 7 so that the original seat covers are not damaged. If there are deep spots which are impossible to clean then that might be a problem but a couple of clean towels and a mild soap works for me.

if you are a tech-savvy person then you would like to add features like your laptop holder .. or an upgraded touchscreen sound system ... or you can also have a dvd player and a front screen... majority of the customization is done to the exterior and interiors like i added spoilers at one point and also had a mini bar under the hood ...

my concern would just be the pricing ... why would VW price it higher than its peers? i find the old ones reliable too ... Anyways ... I would not want to settle with a 2WD for an SUV just because of its pricing. Heard that the 4WD goes up to $32 grands.
