In my journey of finding a car, i seem to be finding quite a lot of car with accident history. in order to distinguish, i understand a paint tester will be useful. Can you recommend where to buy one and a good model (or possibly lend one ). My search basically has only been only on Noon and Amazon, but i am sure the people here can point out proper shops.

So, i am going to be looking and then purchasing a car soon. i like to hear if you can provide any suggestions on reliable methods to check the car condition. i remember seeing a post of comprehensive test not worth it; any mechanic references or other places to go? any options in sharjah will be very useful as i seem to find in Sharjah only...

Precisely these... Once I escaped an one hour traffic between Dubai abudhabhi due to an accident and maps alerted me of an alternate to take the service lane.

Appreciate your honesty on the bias The car is splendid - it's a premium product with all the amazing stuff and i wish i would pick this up; however, my car usage now is way too low (drove 40K km in 5 years) and don't want to spend get into a 100k+ asset at this point you must be kidding?

Just looking at crossovers now, guess it's not counted as 4x4, nor would it be good for the car itself.

Well my point is that the accuracy of this this thing is something that needs to be corrected for this to be a usable feature.. as Google can easily show alerts for overspeeding , but without a accurate measure of the speed this will only be a draining the battery 😡

Wow, what app is this? yes, you are right. the car usage is already low and his travel is only between the busy streets of burdubai and karama.. what shocked me more is the fact that the car drove terribly and felt so heavy. yes, thats there... was checking if the CVT thingy is creating a mess..

Yeah, i saw this on my phone a few weeks back. however, the indicated speed varied by atleast 10KMph for me.. i don't know if my phone is acting up and hope it was not my car

As i had Altima 2011(full), i just want to take a little step up so a crossover kind with slightly above 2.5 and a something that can accommodate 7 (including kids). prefer to not overshoot my budget 60 - 70K. I like a good sound system, wife wants a big roof even though if it's not very useful... The sorento and Grand Santa Fe seem to meet these requirements. after reading f from the forums, korean car aren't best nor they are bad in resale... would like to hear more on your friends problems.. would be useful to check when buying one. OMG, that km's are amazing.. just read Wiki and understand that VeraCruz is like the predecessor of 7 Seater Santa Fe

A good friend of mine has a 2015 Pathfinder, in a recent talk he told me that the fuel economy is low in the car about 5 KM/liter.. i was quite shocked to hear that. Any real world experience in UAE? His usage is very low (30K in 4 years). I drove the car today and felt that it was not powerful in the lower gears; i felt that the transmission was sluggish and felt the rubber banding of the CVT. Can this be related to the low fuel economy? The Fuel tank is about half full and the car suggests that it will run for only 160 KM's. Can you provide inputs on this situation? The car is serviced only in Nissan; have tried complaining in the service center once and did not make a long term difference.

i have just joined the forum Just sold my Altima and thinking of a cross over, my first option is a Kia Sorento and the second is Santa Fe. i like some help from the Hyundai guys as i have been looking for a few days to find information about Santa Fe. The basic question that i don't get a clear information is what is the difference between a Grand Santa Fe and the regular Santa Fe? Would i be right to say that the Grand is like the premium version with all the bells and whistles while the regular is the basic car? Looking to buy a 2016/2017 Car, any suggestions on where to buy? i am basically looking at private owners from classifieds like dubizzle. it will be very helpful anyone point me towards finding the details of different trims of this car in 2017? side note: i checked the Kia UAE website for the latest car and the brochure says there is a diesel variant - i don't think UAE allows a diesel commuter vehicle ...

Hello Ppl! I am new to the forum; i just sold my first car - Altima 2011, which i purchased from at 2014. Now looking for a buying a car - something like a crossover. Generally, i am bit of a car enthusiast; generalist, don't have any brands preferences, a bit of interest on the science behind the technology and watch DIY car videos on YouTube. NO practical experience though.
