  1. @Sunil Mathew thanks for the info definitely sounds good I appreciate it
  2. Good morning @Ale Vallecchi unfortunately, I won't be able to make the drive time on Friday as I have a university interview that I have to attend. I was really looking forward to this drive because I'm a huge fan of the Star Trek series my favorite being Next generation or Deep space Nine. Enjoy the drive and I hope to join everyone on the next one. Live Long and Prosper
  3. @Carnity any thoughts on the local hurricane brand for shocks?
  4. @Gaurav thanks for the amazing drive! For my first time in Fewbie+ it was an adrenaline rush and a nice challenge to keep up with the convoy! Thanks for all the support definitely made me feel welcome to the drive + the new rank @Jaro Tuzinsky it was great seeing you again this time in FB+ and the white rhino! we had an amazing support team this drive who really made sure I was comfortable with the terrain and any mistake I made was backed with informative communication and instructions. I apologize for any refusals that held up the convoy; still enjoyed every last minute of the breathtaking climbs! great to see new faces and some old ones @Alexanderrr @Ignacio Quindós @Zulfikhar Naiyar @Pierre de Maigret @salah2u and @Shaaz Sha
  5. @GauravSoni got some free time during the weekend would be happy to join up! I’ve added myself to your list
  6. @Felix Obst I will definitely look into getting Rubicon shocks that seems like a great idea, I have been conducting more research on just getting shocks that improve ride quality without adding too much of a lift to the car as even after the Liwa trip I noticed a large difference in quality and ride between my dad's jeep gladiator @Gary F that has falcon shocks compared to my stock shocks that don't seem to push back much when handling tougher terrain. Hopefully I'll be able to meet you soon in a drive, would love to see your Jeep and see how it handles in the Terrain
  7. Thanks @Hisham Masaad and @Brette I learn from the best thanks everyone will definitely enjoy this new level @Ranjan Das @Sajan.S
  8. @munkybizness I completely agree with you I’ve been trying to get undercarriage washes every 5-6 drives as I was already aware of the underlying issues. Although I do need to get into the habit of unscrewing the intake and getting the sand out of it 😛
  9. @munkybizness @Looper@DP1011 , Deepak wrangler @Stumpy Paj @Imteeaz @Waqas Parvez @Bjoern thanks everyone I appreciate it!
  10. @Vaibhav JEEP power! @rohit kumar @Frederic @Ishak @Gary F @Vaibhav thanks everyone!
  11. Absolute amazing drive @Vanessa8580 every dune I crossed got me closer to believing I was on Tatooine 😁 and you did a great job leading us into Liwa and out no matter what the scenario @Brette did an amazing job in second lead no matter the difficulty of the landscape @Srikumar and @Varun Mehndiratta who didn’t back down when it came to helping a hand We had a great support team that lended a hand around every corner we took. Especially the camp fire at the end of the day which reminded me of the times in beavers/the small time I had in Scouts.
  12. @Brette no one told us we looked like a modern western movie 😂 awesome pic though for sure. I think this one is going on my Instagram account
  13. Those bear grylles survival techniques will come in handy right about now 😂 I’m planning to come in during the morning from Dubai 😂 bringing @Gary F with me he’s gonna take on the road and I’m going to take over in the sand
  14. Yeah true. And I do get the rubbing now. But I do have a Skid plate on the front, so don't see much of an issue for the future of off-roading, my main concern was damage to the undercarriage, but taking care will help with that, I think all will be great everyone's advice is truly appreciated you guys have saved me a lot of money that I've been saving 😂
  15. @Looper I agree, when I get there, I will probably ponder over the subject again. But I have a long way to go before I find myself making that decision, thanks for the info. Maybe for the long wheelbase it's best to just stay stock for as long as possible, as for in the sand I'm not finding any issues yet with how the car handles and most days I'm surprised just what the Jeep is capable of I'm sure everyone in the jeep community agrees as well. 🙃
  16. @Pranjal Varsani1 agreed I had my fun with customization haha got some retro stripes going up the side and a hula girl on the dash board 😂
  17. @Anoop Nair I totally agree with you, in the future any other modifications I want to implement are to just reinforce the Jeep without any difference in height, I believe I could look into just installing falcon shocks to enhance my ability to navigate such terrain. Thank you for the great insight. The Jeep support really helps guys cheers!
  18. @Vaibhav Thanks for the advice I will look into the axle reinforcement for sure, on revaluation I'm not going to go for the lift kit as all these added costs come out far more expensive to what I expected. However, your point on reinforcement is what I'm looking for, as getting refusals are all part of the fun personally, I learn from them. My only concern is damage to the car so reinforcement is definitely what I'm looking for
  19. @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler in that case I will stick with the safe option and keep the stock suspension until it runs into problems which hopefully it won't anytime soon 😄 I love how the jeep drives as it is, as I have mentioned before the only 'mods' I have done with my jeep is the front skid plate because the original one was plastic 😁 and I changed to a metal rear bumper because the original owner damaged the brackets on it somehow 😁 Thank you guys for the advice I appreciate it @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler @Frederic @Zixuan Huang - Charlie
