Last but not least you can try updating the firmware if this weird issue is system issue 100% sure, then may be new firmware (stable one) might able to help your Sat Nav common sense back.

Buy carbeutor cleaner and open the air filter box and spray some on top of O2 and Air flow sensor and start the car. Do this again with running and when you spray car will stall, wait for 5 mins and start again. Do this 2 - 3times to see if it helps or not.

If you take it to dealer, they will remove it. Approach someone higher one, normal service advisor usually says no. My friend got it removed from AGMC few years back by speaking and requesting to workshop manager and they did.
