Recall campaign Statement Takata passenger side front airbag inflator on Mazda6 GH & Mazda CX9
In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy - Department of Consumer Protection, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, Galadari Automobile Co LTD LLC announces a recall Campaign for the Mazda 6 GH & Mazda CX9, model which will begin effective immediately.
United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 10th Dec, 2016: Galadari Automobiles Co Ltd LLC, exclusive distributor of Mazda in the UAE, released the following statement
Following communication with Mazda Motor Corporation, we have started a Recall Campaign affecting in the UAE.
Due to continued exposure to high levels of absolute humidity may cause the front airbag
inflator housing to rupture deploy Abnormally in the event of crash necessitating deployment of frontal air bag. An inflator rupture could result in metal fragments striking and potentially seriously injuring vehide occupants.
For further darification, customers may contact the Galadari Automobiles Customer Care Centre on 800MAZDA (800-62932) from 8.00am - 5.00pm, Sunday to Thursday.
