  1. To be honest, im driving civic since 2007 and never had such issue. Dont really belive on service advisor talks as many times they just say as its been told to them from their busy mechanic who have no time to bend under your car and get the axle boots, CV boots and joints inspected. Get car checked at outside competent garage in al quoz or rashidiya and i am sure you will able to fix this issue near tires and axle area.
  2. 200 AED he charged me and even cleaned the car.
  3. My friend, this car is really goo for off road the trick is to be that you have to be good at it.
  4. Seen one in blue too, that is much better than yellow.
  5. when the car is driven too much this is very common that a little vibration will happen. so sometimes if the wheel balancing is done then it can solve the problem to an extend.
  6. Choose anyone for such job, as its not technical and just mechanical job. Just bolt in and bolt out. http://www.hondadxb.com/workshop-garage-f24/general-purpose-workshop-garage-dubai-t318.html Buy foundation urself and get it changed with any half way decent garage.
  7. What a great thread and what a great willingness to help. Three cheers for hisham_khan. Real gentlemen having patience to help and guide so much for so long, wish we have many members like him. GREAT JOB HISHAM. Keep it up.
  8. Honda automobile Type R models are special performance editions of their respective model families. The design of Type R models was originally focused on race conditions, with an emphasis on minimizing weight, and maximizing performance potential (e.g. engine tuning, suspension set-up). Thus, Type R models were first conceived for racetracks. However, due to Honda's increased focus on their highly regarded VTEC engines, the Type R was eventually designed for a much wider market. Go search more on wiki about the R. Basically, R is race edition and si is standard one or basic street type car. You will def able to buy plenty of Si and R spare parts in UAE market even if you are importing car from outside. But Honda dealer might act little bit upset while fixing your imported car (rem that).
  9. There is one fit perfect only comes from company. And i am very sure you dont want that expensive one thats why you are looking for aftermarket one. For that you need to search a bit in deira naif or satwa car accessories market. Satwa is small with 5-10 shops and deira naoif has 50-100 shops.
  10. i agree zubs sharjah has a lot of options too Sharjah Industrial area have good workshops.
  11. the brakes can be adjusted by a mechanic as you need special tools to do this. found this video http://www.ehow.com/video_2327566_make-final-adjustments-car-brakes.html
  12. this is in my experience not possible but if you go to the dealer's workshop they may be able to do it.
  13. there are a lot of service centers that do good servicing why then do you want to get it done at a petrol station.
