Some of the Netflix OC is OK. I enjoyed bird box and room. But I agree, a lot of it is making movies just for the sake of making movies. Movies purely for killing time that never seem to go anywhere or have a proper ending. And they seem to have some sort weird deal with Adam sandler going on.

Only Adam Sandler movie worth watching is Happy Gilmore. Rest is just dross.

Nissan CVTs are a different breed. The oil cooling in them is inadequate and they usually start to give problems around 60k. Sure, there are people who have bigger mileages on them but as someone who works on cars, I wouldn’t touch one. Nissan seem to have no intention of rectifying the problems either. They have so much money invested into the R&D of their CVTs that they can’t back out now.

There is currently a big law suit against Nissan in the US over this. That Nissan knows their CVTs are faulty and yet still willingly selling and have sold cars knowing this very well i.e purposely sold defective goods

Leave the pathy at home and come by for coffee one day. We must be due to catch up again soon.

There’s only one exotic there? It’s one thing seeing nice cars on the road every day, it’s another when you can work on and drive them every day. You get to experience things there’s no way in hell you could otherwise afford.

I know what you mean, been there done that.

  4. I had a 2018 Yaris as a rental for 4-5 months great car compared to the current rental I have, a 2019 Nissan Sunny which is an absolute POS in every way possible.

Fuel consumption, comfort level, smoothness, looks inside and out, features. Miles ahead.

I think the Yaris is a though act to follow in the mini Jap ecobox segment

  5. I was subscribed to Netflix but found the local library too outdated and limited so unsubscribed.

So I'll just name a few. The blacklist, Lost is space, Witcher.

Unfortunately after the The big bang theory ended not much good comedy or sitcoms left.

The neighborhood is good though and last Man standing. And there was this one with Ashton Kutcher which also ended

  6. I thought with everything virtually closed and a lot of people working from the forum would be buzzing with activity as people find ways to kill time at home but it's even more deserted than usual? ( Other than the long list of promotion threads )

    Whats up with that?

    Appreciate for your clarity. Would you Illuminate;

Whether, Central Diff lock and Central Diff lock with limited slip differential are same?

How A-Trac is different from diff lock?

No they are not the same. LSD has clutch plates in it and when one wheel start to spin they catch and transfer power to the other hence momentarily locking both wheels and you'll never find a center LSD diff. Only rear.

Similar concept is there for all wheel drives in the center like RAV4 and Honda *RVs but that's called a torsen diff. Working principle is the same as LSD.

A.Trac is just Toyotas fancy name for traction control.

    You miss the word "RATED"

For such strong or repetitive tugs (more than 3, after soft medium and hard attempt), we secure the rope with support assist rope to absorb any projectile.

Treks is saying the shackel along with the fabricated point.

That's true, but I was not referring to overland expedition vehicles. I was referring to common-or-garden variety SUV's like the ones you guys use in the desert. We have hundreds of graded off-road trails, some of which allow unmodified SUV's (so-called soft roaders) on them, and it is on these trails that we often see the weight of an SUV defeat expensive suspension mods.

But it is as you say; the OP has the shocks already, so he might as well try them out to see what works best.

Oh ok. Anyways yeah he's already got them, so too late now. For me fir off road and on road use balance has been using HD coils with stock shocks.

  11. Although this sounds a bit authoritarian but I total agree with it.

I remember how frustrating it was to literally wait for hours just because someone did not have the decency to show up on time and people didn't start because they didn't want to offend or hurt anyone's feelings!

Resulting in a tiny short drive for everyone because of one character.

I can guarantee once someone is sent back they will never be late again!

The roadsters are pretty cool. You don’t see many of them around. I got arrested in a Ford Ka once. I won’t tell you what I was doing because it’s a family friendly forum but you can use your imagination. Lovely girl called rose. She was on the larger side so my friends used to call her whole lotta rosie like the AC/DC song.

    In a Ka?

You make a good point here, but the problem is that many SUV's are so heavy that it is very difficult to control the compression rate without the suspension bottoming out. We see this all the time on grade 1 & 2 off road trails that allow SUV's on them- some people spend large fortunes on suspension mods and especially on coil-over shocks with multiple adjustments, but in the end, the sheer weight of their vehicles defeat even the most expensive suspension mods.

That's true but you are talking of full loaded and kitted out with steel overlanders. Might work for a empty nearly stock regular swb 4x4. No harm in trying as he's already got them
