  1. Brake shoe replacement is easy. But make sure that you wear gloves when changing the brake show.

First, park your car on a ground level and release the emergency break. Clog the front wheel if you are removing the shoe from rear wheel or vice versa.

Adjust the jack and pull the car up in order to remove the wheel.

Release the lug nuts from the wheel in order to remove the wheel. When you remove the wheel, you will see either drum or disc shaped covering the brake shoe. Remove that as well.

You need to remove the return spring using the brake tool.

Pull out the hardware and the brake shoes holding the retainer pin.

They will easily come out. Now install the new break shoes into the hardware and put it back on the tray.

Tighten it properly in order to avoid any loose part coming out when driving.

Put back the drum/disc shaped covering and install back the wheel.

  2. Last time my friend was also asked to pay for the labor charge. He is pretty innocet, and he paid for the labor charge. When he showed me the bill, i shouted at him and told himt o clain against it. Its not fair. He went back to the dealer, and reported a complain against them. The executive officer then apologized to him for the same, but he did not get his money back. But out of all this mess, me and me hyfriend understood that one does not have to pay for the labor charge to your dealer if your car is under warranty issued by the same dealer.

  3. I have had the most unbelievable experience when getting my 607 passing for renewal. the brakes were due for changing and so were the tires that was what the passing in tasjeel said and when i went to one next to wasal testing they cleared the car. HAHAHA i didnt know if i should be happy or worried. If they keep passing the cars like this then what is the point of getting the car checked before renewals or registrations.
