Sharing another detail on the repair
Here is what you have to do:
Once I had to do that when my center console cracked and I had to replace it with a brand new one (https://www.carid.com/center-consoles/). First, I thought getting an aftermarket overlay piece that would stick-on, but then I realized, that the sound will not disappear (the cracked plastic piece will give that sound under vibration, when you drive).
