Where have all my mates gone? Ive been away for a month and the Abu Dhabi crew is back on Newbie.... Grown a little scared Sri....been driving with the lady leads again have you?

......Drives with Sri never end at 1am.....😁😁....we will be out at 2am only. I love that!! Tonight I will leave my shovel at home and pack the welding machine! 😶 Can't wait!

Today was quite another experience. Bright and early we ventured to the starting point. Just reaching the location asked some dune bashing to a certain extent. 😄 Half a tar road, half a sand dune. Deflated, flags up. We thought we would go dune bashing.....🧐 savanna touring instead. And then the bowl came. What an experience. This was the first time the marshalls let us loose in a proper bowl. And what a feeling it was. Thank you very much. @Asif Hussain took the lead and demonstrated the technique. What follwed was an hour or so of pure exhilirating fun. We cut our fun short to asist elsewhere, helping a driver in need. Thank you for allowing me along, and letting me help with fixing a popout. Simply being present tough me a great deal and simply noticing everything happening help grew my experience. Inshallah, I shall never need to use it, not for myself nor for someone else. Thank you to all the marahalls for a great morning. @Frederic thank you for a great lead filled with fun.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 now if that is not a stab in the heart. The Jeep convinced me to change my plans 🛣......says if there is still a spot we will be there. Pick up that pace. Vanessa warmed me up....and now I have an appetite for what a real criss cross and ridge ride feels like.

I would like to give a big shout out to this drive and all the participants. @Foxtrot Oscar for an excellent lead and banter thank you very much. I have to be honest, your lead and drive style, the challenges and obstacles you lead us to experience were all I expected a Fewbie+ drive to be. I shall join your drives any day again. Getting crested.....a shame on me. I could have sworn that even the Jeep snored at me when I parked at home last night. We both licked our wounds. To @Islam Soliman for an excellent sweep and coming to the rescue, overseeing a few pop-outs thank you very much. We did not spend more than 20 minutes on any situation. @Arman an excellent second lead. Remember to also look on top next time. I shall remember to carry a drink for your car with me on a next drive @Alexander Alcala I had a lot of fun keeping a close eye on your Jeep in front of me. Wondering into the dark of night again for a second round of adrenaline. Thank you to all that joined, vegetation or not we had fun. It's not everyday our wheels feel grass underneath them. This was the drive with the absolute most ridge riding and cris-crossing I had been on since joining the club. It took me a while to figure out exactly what about these drives it is that gets my adrenaline flowing. I do understand that gaining experience in all areas of sand driving is what makes a well rounded driver but the somewhat faster pace and body roll of a cris-cross eventually is what makes me sit upright and thoroughly enjoy the drives. @Foxtrot Oscar thank you for the cold one before we departed home. Thank you guys. 🙈 However the Fewbie drives under my profile are not correct. Only 3 drives are indicated and I have done more. To my count I have done at least 5 of which I have the dates, 3 were night drives with Sri, 1 Twilight with Emannuel and 1 night drive with Chaitanya. Problem solved. Drive labels.

Is there any place on the site where one can see all drives attended, per date and at which level those drives were? If not, is it not a good idea to perhaps introduce such a functionality, maybe under ones profile? Ruan

Dear Islam, You are welcome to double check with Sri or Chaitanya, I have done at least 6 Fewbie drives and have spoken to Sri about joining some F+ drives to prepare for a level upgrade
