There are rotos present on the wheel. Basicaly the surface of the rotors is thesurface where the brake pads are pushed when somebody applies brakes. So when you apply brakes, the brake pads get in touch with the surface of the rotors. Since the suraface of the rotors is not smooth, the connection between the pad and rotor is still there. When this happens, you still feel brakes, even when take off your foot from the pedal.

I can hear a hissing sound from my car engine. What is it about? And I can feel that the engine is too hot as well.

That reminds me of my experience. I never maintained the steering fluid which resulted into power steering break down. There was a time that there was no fluid at all, though i was reminded about the fluid but was lazy! I ended up paying a big amount to change the power steering in the car as well as refill the steering fluid.

And can you also explain how to maintain the constant smoothness of torquue converter?

How to replace the proportioning valve in hybrid?

There is a check engine light on the dash of my BMW 3 series. After diagnosing, an expert told me to that the replacement of EVAP system charcoal canister is required. My question is, if it’s possible to replace it without taking it to the dealer? Frankly speaking, I have no time to leave my car to the dealer, and if it’s possible for me to do it?

Car repainting is a good idea but only if you are getting it done by a professional. But ya, if some stupid wants to paint a car using a spray gun, no one will even buy your car. Talking about the disadvantage, somewhere the value of your car goes down. The security and reliability the original color of your car provides will be gone

The seatbelt in my BMW is really sticky now. Why it is so and what can I do to make it unsticky?

Thanks Dude! That was really helpful. I tried cleaning it and thus there is no need to replace it. You saved me spending money for the replacement of air filter. Thanks again!

How is this car on off-road? I mean I stay at such a place where the parking is off-road behind the villas. Will that affect the performance of this car? As I am planning to buy this, only issue is the off-road parking.

How often can I change the cabin air filter in my 406, 2012 model?

There is black smoke coming out of my car. Have no idea why? Please tell me why is it happening?

I bought this car 2 years ago. At first, I could hear clicking noise from the engine. When I gave my car for servicing, I informed them about the same issue but they returned me back the car with the same noise still there. I called them and reported them the same issue again, but no action taken. The dealer do take my car for servicing, but do not pay attention to the problem I was reporting them. And I am not the only one; many of my friends told me the same thing. When the noise got worse, I took my car back to the dealer and told them the same thing. They didn’t bother to repair it. Finally out of no option left, I got it repaired from a local BMW dealer, who by the way repaired my car in the finest and quickest way possible. They are way better than these people. These days I feel as if BMW dealers just know how to grab money from their customers and don’t pay attention to their customer service.

I know many people complainng about the customer service provided by Honda dealers. But foetunately,i always had a good experience with them talking from a salesman to the executive officer. I agree my honda had some issues here and there but the services provided by the dealer was always satisfactory. They always paid attention to my car and provided me best services patiently.

M5, E60, V10 is the best car in BMW. the performance, class as well as the look, mind blowing. I just love that car. I don't own one, but ya so want to.

Well i would say that somewhere it depends on your driving skills as well. I have driven my car on Shk. Zayed road many times. I do understand that its too much traffic any point of the day, but somewhere the way you drive there also matters. If you are putting sudden brakes while diving, then off course your car will suffer, but if you drive properly and not put jerks then the driving experience is at the different level. I don't think that 7 series BMW is not a smooth car. And as you are new, it may take time for you to understand the driving language here.

What things one needs to keep in mind when travelling for a long vacation. I am sure many people go to their home countries to enjoy their vacation, but its necessary to leave your car in a good condition in order to avoid any trouble afterwards.
Switching to Synthetic Oil
in Cadillac CTS Forum in UAE
Posted
I tried that, and I suppose that was the most stupid thing i did. Actually what happens is that you need to maintain the viscosity level of the motor oil. When you use synthetic oil, the viscosity of the synthetic oil is lesser than ordinary oil, and the oil from the engine starts circulating to other parts of the engine as well. So that results into leakage and what not. I had to get the radiator and water pump replaced because of the oil leakage. So dont switch your motor oil until and unless it is advised from your dealer or auto workshop.
