Secondary hood latch actuating cable may corrode and bind
In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy - Department of Consumer Protection - and in line with the keenness of the Ministry to conduct an ongoing review of all products in UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Juma Al Majid Est. as Hyundai sole distributor in UAE announces a safety recall campaign for selected vehicles of Hyundai Santa Fe (DM) and Grand Santa Fe (NC) Model, as below.
Following communication with Hyundai Motors, we have started a Safety Recall Campaign for selected vehicles of Hyundai Santa Fe (DM) and Grand Santa Fe (NC) 2012 2016 in the UAE.
In the affected vehicles, the secondary hood latch actuating cable may corrode and bind, causing the secondary hood latch to remain in the unlatched position when hood is closed.
